Artist's Comments
The title entirely summarizes Yuli + Suzunagi (teenagers) from my Romeo + Juliet fanfic. The clothes they wear are from the party scene in which they met. Now let’s get this clear—Suzunagi is NOT gothic. She doesn’t wear much of black like Yuli—it’s the exact opposite—white. But the party allows everybody to wear only black, so.... (I really should’ve drawn her in a white dress though.....)
I kinda like the background; I had used a digital paintbrush. But I really like it—it’s like some fog is surrounding them. I think I’m having fun drawing them together  almost as I do with Ken and Kiyo. But if you must really blame something, blame the 1968 movie version of Romeo and Juliet (the best version I’ve ever seen!). I gotta rent that... |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
